Ed is a licensed attorney for over 25 years, with expertise in commercial and
residential real estate closings. He has handled numerous real estate matters,
both commercial and residential, and also numerous litigation matters as well.
Ed has also managed commercial and residential mortgage loan closings, including
refinances, purchases, construction loans, home equity lines of credit and other
loans.
After graduating from Fordham Law School, Ed worked at several general practice
law firms until he decided to found his own law firm in 1992, which specialized
in commercial, corporate and financial matters, including securities litigation.
His clients included physicians, attorneys, accountants, several well-known
film, television and stage actors and professional athletes. He later took a
prestigious position with a nationally-known law firm, with office in Los
Angeles, Chicago and New York and specialized in group-action and class-action
litigation.He also previously served with distinction as a Federal Law Clerk
working for a Senior Judge who handled complex international trade, anti-dumping
and countervailing duty, and import classification cases.
Ed later worked for a Wall Street investment banking firm in its Public Finance
Department, where he helped to develop, coordinate and implement multi-million
dollar tax-exempt municipal bond projects in conjunction with various Economic
and Industrial Development Authorities throughout the U.S.
Ed received his Juris Doctor degree from Fordham Law School in 1981, after
receiving a Bachelor of Sciences degree Cum Laude from Fordham University
College of Business Administration in 1978. In his junior year in college, Ed
was first awarded membership in Beta Gamma Sigma, the national business honorary
society.
